Aurora company receives $100K in EEZ tax credits

The Missouri Department of Economic Development approved more than $100,000 in state tax credits for Aurora-based Mid-America Auto Lifts to assist in the creation of new jobs and investment, according to an Aug. 30 DED news release.

Mid-America Auto Lifts will receive $117,044 in Enhanced Enterprise Zone tax credits during a five-year period for the creation of 27 jobs and investment of $1.8 million for expansion at the company's address, 909 Industrial Drive in Aurora, the release said.

Mid-America is a domestic and custom lift manufacturer of auto and industrial lifts, according to its Web site.

The EEZ program, which was implemented in 2004, grants tax credits based on the potential to create sustainable jobs in a targeted industry, according to the release.
