Apple apologizes for using Siri to eavesdrop

Apple is apologizing for using Siri to eavesdrop on recorded conversations.

"We realize we haven't been fully living up to our high ideals, and for that we apologize," Apple officials said.

The company plans to introduce a new requirement that users must give their permission to allow Apple to review recorded audio.
