Houston, Texas-based Comanche Contractors is the general contractor for Academy Sports’ 87,226-square-foot store in James River Commons, a 63-acre site at Campbell Avenue and James River Freeway. The architect is Houston, Texas-based Seeberger Architecture, and engineers are Houston, Texas-based BGA Engineers Inc., structural; and Addison, Texas-based Lippe & Associates, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. Academy Sports, which also is based in Houston, will join anchor tenant Sam’s Club at James River Commons.
