LabCorp disclosed in a federal filing around 7.7 million customers were affected by a data breach.
The incident reportedly happened between Aug. 1, 2018, and March 30, 2019, due to a breach at third-party collections firm American Medical Collection Agency.
Names, addresses, birth dates and balance information, as well as credit card and bank account data, was included in the breach.
LabCorp's disclosure came a day after Quest Diagnostics announced 12 million patients were affected by a separate breach.
