What about your job would shock people? Pharmacists play a vital role beyond the pharmacy counter and work in clinics and doctors’ offices. As an ambulatory care pharmacist, I collaborate with medical providers, utilizing a collaborative practice agreement to adjust medications for patients and empowering them to achieve their health goals through lifestyle changes.
Best piece of advice you’ve ever received? From my dad growing up: “Never let the books get in the way of your education.” This reminder has shaped my approach to learning and teaching, emphasizing the importance of seeking knowledge from diverse sources and embracing opportunities for growth.
