Editor’s Note: A good doctor or nurse helps you heal. A great one supports you on the journey.
Health care professionals guide us through some of the most challenging moments of life, and they also are there in times of joy.
Many years of training gave these honorees the skills and experience to perform their roles with excellence, but it’s the passion for their field that makes them a champion. It’s also what has fueled their commitment. Coming out of the grueling coronavirus pandemic, surveys have shown burnout among health care workers is at an all-time high.
We salute the individuals in the 2022 class of Health Care Champions for giving themselves and their talent to the community.
Thanks to our judges for their time in selecting this year’s class. We hope you enjoy reading this special publication.
