Project description: Notable features of the new school, including a dedicated cafeteria, music instructional space, a community room and a safe room/gymnasium, are focused on improving security and accessibility. The school will be able to serve 300 students and will have two-story classroom areas, a media center and collaboration areas. The building is constructed with a steel frame, exterior masonry veneer and metal siding. Paragon Architecture LLC and Sapp Design Associates Architects PC are the project architects. Engineers are Toth and Associates Inc., structural and civil; Interpres Building Solutions LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing; and Palmerton and Parrish Inc., geotechnical.
