ASHRAE’s mission is “To advance the arts and sciences of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigerating to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world.” Local membership comprises engineers, architects, facility owners/operators, contractors, product sales representatives and others with an interest in promoting the mission.

Industry role
ASHRAE provides support to local professionals through technical training, technical resources and through efforts to positively affect applicable codes and standards.

Innovation
Our local members strive to bring balance between application of the latest technologies and given project requirements with construction budgets being one of the most pressing challenges.

Challenges
Our members are resilient. They seem to continually adapt to find ways to provide products and services that meet the constantly changing needs of our local projects.

2012 Outlook
Our membership is cautiously optimistic. As a group and as individuals, they are definitely doing their part to support growth of our local construction industry by finding ways to provide efficient services and efficient end solutions.
