The U.S. is once again moving to apply tariffs to Mexican fabricated steel imports.
The U.S. Commerce Department announced the decision after an investigation into government subsidies that assist fabricated structural steel manufacturers from Mexico, China and Canada.
It was decided Canadian exports do not warrant the tariff. However, exports from Mexico and China do, according to U.S. officials.
