The Supreme Court yesterday declined to hear a case from UPS seeking to increase the U.S. Postal Service's prices.
UPS officials claimed the USPS has an unfair advantage over private competitors.
“[P]ostal pricing has departed from Congress’ requirement that the Postal Service compete on a level playing field with private companies for package delivery,” UPS had argued to the Supreme Court.
Amazon, which backed the USPS in the legal challenge, uses the Postal Service for package delivery.
