Hood-Rich Architecture designed a 
$2.4 million medical office building just outside of Birmingham, Alabama. Half of the 11,000-square-foot building will house a medical clinic with exam and procedure rooms, radiology and labs, while the other half is still available. WatsonBruhn Builders LLC (Birmingham, Alabama) is the general contractor. Engineering work is by Gonzalez-Strength & Associates Inc. (Hoover, Alabama), civil and landscape; Mettemeyer Engineering LLC, structural; and CJD Engineering LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The project is slated for completion by October.
