CJD Engineering LLC is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer for Miller Commerce LLC’s Turners Rock senior living community. The cost of the 126,000-square-foot project is roughly $30 million, according to past Springfield Business Journal reporting. Plans call for 51 independent living units, 50 assisted living beds and 20 memory care beds. Officials say amenities will include a pool, bistro, third-story pub and rooftop social deck, a game room and theater. H Design Group LLC is the project architect, and Larry Snyder and Co. is the general contractor. Additional engineering work is provided by Olsson Inc., civil, and Mettemeyer Engineering LLC, structural. The project is slated for completion in summer 2020.
