The U.S. Senate yesterday approved St. Louis County attorney Sarah Pitlyk to a federal judgeship for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
President Donald Trump's pick for the post, Pitlyk is known for her opposition to abortion and support for religious rights.
The approval was made despite the American Bar Association rating her as "not qualified" because of her lack of courtroom experience.
