Mettemeyer Engineering LLC is the structural engineer for a 137,000-square-foot mixed-use development spanning three buildings, an addition to Fieldstone Apartments. The first building will have retail space for up to 10 tenants and 50 apartment units, with the second and third buildings comprising 60 apartment units. Countryland Homes Inc. is the general contractor for the unnamed development, which also has the potential for a restaurant to be built on-site, according to those involved. H Design Group LLC is project architect. Tate Engineering Consultants is the civil engineer, and CJD Engineering LLC is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer. The first phase of the project is slated for completion by July.
