Dave Wuster, Southwestern Bell Pioneers Heartland Chapter president, displays baby food, diapers and vitamins to be donated to Crosslines for needy children. The Pioneers is a group of Southwestern Bell employees and retirees who raise money and materials and donate them to local charities. Nearly 525 Pioneers gathered in Springfield for a conference May 21 and 22, raising nearly $2,400 in donations. The conference was held for the Heartland Chapter, made up of Pioneers from western Missouri and Kansas, and the Durant Chapter, made up of Pioneers in the remainder of Missouri.[[In-content Ad]]
