The Norandex Corporation is pitching in to help the Joplin community.
In a special press conference last week, the company presented a check to the United Way of Joplin for $3,000.
The company and its employees raised the money, and Shelly Mock, human resources director of Norandex. Mock presented the check.
The money donated will go toward helping the agencies that receive United Way funding, such as the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army and Special Olympics.
