An employment agency is making a new home in Joplin.
AppleOne Employment Services held a ribbon cutting March 18 to celebrate its grand opening in the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Rangeline.
A spokesman for the company said AppleOne believes Joplin is a prime location because of the amount of new construction and growth that is occurring in the area.
AppleOne stated that its location inside Wal-Mart will allow the company to reach people past normal business hours, accomodating people who cannot come in between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
AppleOne opened 50 new offices across the country in 1997 and plans to open 50 more in the coming year.
The company has grown by 200 percent in the last two years.
