The former head football coach at Missouri Southern State College has taken a job at another college.
Joe Lantz has accepted the position of director of student development at Ozark Christian College, Joplin.
Lantz began his new duties earlier this month.
Lantz has worked in the teaching field for more than 20 years, receiving his bachelor's degree from Panhandle State University, Oklahoma, and a master's degree from the University of Central Oklahoma, Edmond.
His duties at OCC include overseeing the dean of men and women, residence hall directors, athletic directors, the dean of student ministries and campus security.

Under construction beside the existing Republic branch of the Springfield-Greene County Library District – which remains in operation throughout the project – is a new building that will double the size of the original, according to library officials.
