The city of Branson has set its agenda for the upcoming Missouri legislative session to convene in January.
The city states that it will support laws that simplify annexations for cities, keep rivers and lakes clean, provide adequate funding for transportation, provide funding for tourism promotion, address time-share advertising issues and provide affordable health insurance for small businesses.
The city opposes any legislation that allows the expansion of legalized gambling in the state.
