A report released this month lists Springfield as one of the top 100 U.S. cities for sexually transmitted disease rates.
Utilizing Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data, Innerbody.com published the report of the 100 cities with the highest STD rates per capita.
Springfield ranked No. 58 nationwide. The city, according to the report, has 980 STD cases per 100,000 people.
