ESPN is preparing to offer Tony Romo a deal that would make him the highest-paid sportscaster in TV history, sources familiar with the matter told Front Office Sports.
The multiyear deal, according to the sources, is worth $10 million to $14 million annually.
If he's signed, Romo could succeed Booger McFarland as the analyst on “Monday Night Football." Romo is a retired quarterback who played 14 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys.
