U.S. domestic passenger flights could virtually shut down, either voluntarily or by government order, The Wall Street Journal reports.
Citing industry and federal officials, the report indicates the temporary shutdown of domestic flights may be inevitable amid the coronavirus pandemic and decreasing passenger numbers.
The Transportation Security Administration on Sunday reported passenger flows at its checkpoints were down 80% compared with the same day a year earlier.
