Members of the Nixa Area Chamber of Commerce will soon be appearing in Nixa classrooms to offer support in several ways. An adopt-a-class program for kindergarten through sixth grade will pair each business with a class. It will be up to the businesses and the teachers to decide what activities or assistance will be provided, according to Steve Vaught of Southwestern Bell, chairman of the education committee. For junior and senior high students, chamber members will step into the classroom as career resource speakers, discussing everything from the job market to starting a business.[[In-content Ad]]
