Dr. Ashley Bray on Tuesday was providing care to patients at Elmhurst Hospital Center in New York City.
Thirteen people died at the hospital within 24 hours due to COVID-19.
“It’s apocalyptic,” said Dr. Bray, 27, a general medicine resident at the hospital.
