Industry publication Accounting Today named KPM CPAs PC as a top firm in the Midwest for the sixth consecutive year. The rankings, based on revenues, list 27 firms from Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
KPM CPAs hired Mallory Richardson as a content coordinator. She assists the firm with daily operations and administrative functions in the audit department, including editing and processing reports. She earned a bachelor’s in professional writing from Missouri State University.

Central Bank of Branson added Ryan Rohman as a consumer loan officer. He has seven years of banking experience in the area.
Morelock Builders & Associates Inc. hired Crystal Webster as CEO. She most recently was the executive director for Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks for 11 years.
Springfield Public Schools named four administrators to new positions, effective July 1: Carol Furman as Disney Elementary School principal, Adam Bax as Wilder Elementary School principal, Julie Voyles as director of early childhood special education and Brady Quirk as principal of virtual learning.
Furman, who has 20 years of teaching experience in California, succeeds the retiring Lynne Miller. Bax, the current principal of Robinson Intermediate School in Aurora, succeeds Jason Steingraber, who was named the principal of Pershing K-8 School. Voyles, the special education process coordinator and autism consultant for SPS the past decade, succeeds Christy Davis, who was named director of early childhood education. Quirk will be responsible for supporting full-time virtual SPS students and overseeing virtual instruction across the state. He has worked with the district for 15 years.
SPS named Central High School Spanish teacher Armando Johnson as the 2020-21 Teacher of the Year from a field of five finalists and 220 nominees. He has worked with the district since 2011.
The Missouri College Media Association presented 21 awards to Evangel University student journalists, including first place for Best Overall Newspaper for The Lance. The students received five first place awards, four second place, three third place and three honorable mention awards in the newspaper division.
Dynamic Strides Therapy Inc. announced its new board of directors: Ryan O’Reilly, president; Reed Hopper, vice president; Desi Prost, secretary; Joe Driscoll, treasurer; Blake Beshore; Jennifer Freeman; Nicole Jarrett; Emily Krupa; Tiffany Nichols; Scott Smith; Ryan Walker; and Emily Weil.
The Missouri College Access Network Board of Directors added Francine Pratt as executive director, succeeding Pam Fowler. Pratt has served as the Prosper Springfield director for the past three years and was a member of the MOCAN planning committee, being selected as the inaugural vice chair for its board of directors. She continues to serve Prosper Springfield in a part-time capacity.
Community Partnership of the Ozarks Inc. hired Lauren Rogers as Prosper Springfield assistant director. She has assisted Pratt for two years and earned a bachelor’s in social work from Missouri State University.
United Way of the Ozarks hired Vickie Hicks as director of resource development, succeeding Danielle Conti, who moved out of Springfield. Hicks has 25 years of experience, including positions of community engagement leader for Thrivent Financial, corporate relations specialist for MSU and marketing director for KPM.
