The University of Missouri-Columbia and Washington University are among schools that have temporarily called off in-person classes in response to coronavirus.
Mizzou plans to resume in-person classes March 30. Remote classes will be conducted through next week, after which students are off for spring break.
Washington University officials announced in-person classes would be suspended until at least April 30. Lindenwood University in St. Charles and Belleville also announced it would go all-virtual through March 29.
