Missouri's education commissioner is exiting her role.
Margie Vandeven announced she would resign in July 2024. She has served two separate terms for a total of seven years.
“Serving as commissioner of education for the great state of Missouri has been the honor and the opportunity of a lifetime,” Vandeven said. "Together we have made a meaningful difference in the lives of our children.”
