A Springfield employee of multistate engineering firm Olsson Inc. has been appointed to a state board.
Gov. Mike Parson recently announced the selection of Jane Earnhart to the Missouri Board for Architects, Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors and Professional Landscape Architects. The goal of the board is to protect Missourians' property from damage or destruction via incompetent or unlawful architectural, professional engineering, land surveying or landscape architectural practices, according to the state's website.
Earnhart is a senior landscape architect at Olsson, where she manages projects such as parks, trails, streetscapes and community greenspaces, according to a news release from the firm. She's worked at Olsson for 13 years.
“I am honored to be appointed by Gov. Parson to the board,” Earnhart said in the release. “I look forward to representing landscape architects and women professionals across southwest Missouri in this role.”
