Kansas City-based law firm Stueve Siegel Hanson secured a $56 million class-action settlement in a guardrail case.
In the suit, Dallas-based Trinity Industries was accused of altering the width of its guardrail end terminals, which sit on the traffic-facing ends of guardrails, without notifying state or federal regulators.
The product has been linked to wrecks in other states.
