“All I can say is, be very careful who you sell your business to,” says Leroy Schaefer with Sunbelt Environmental Services. Schaefer, who is selling his Sunbelt Solar and Sunbelt Environmental businesses to his sons, says some people who want to buy a business are only interested in turning a profit when they re-sell it. “It’s not about you or your passion, it’s about their passion for money. So, watch that,” Schaefer says.
