Project description: Construction of a McDonald’s restaurant near Sunshine Street and Campbell Avenue is moving forward after the previous building was demolished in May following a 2018 fire. The layout features new designs for the kitchen and lobby to increase efficiency, said Kristen Bergman, communications director for the McDonald’s Missouri Co-Op. With seating for about 150, Bergman said the lobby design includes natural tones and materials to mirror the aesthetics of the Ozarks. The drive-thru lanes also will be redesigned, she said. Construction is expected to wrap up in late August. The 1.3-acre property is owned by McDonald’s Real Estate Co., according to Greene County assessor records. Owner/developer Andy Ruprecht operates the McDonald’s under Jetrad Inc. in Branson, according to his LinkedIn profile.
