Project description: Commander Financial Services, a provider of floor plan financing to used car dealers, is building a new office and a private athletic training center. Co-owner Josh Tarbet said 3,500 square feet will be dedicated to a new venture dubbed Commander Athletics, which will provide space for coaches to give private strength training and baseball instruction. He plans to include two pitching lanes with assistive technology in the facility design. Tarbet said the idea came about after he purchased land to build a 2,500-square-foot office and realized he had more space than needed. Construction is expected to wrap up in May.
