CJW Transportation Consultants is the roadway and civil engineer for streetscape improvements on Commercial Street from Campbell Avenue to Lyon Avenue for the city of Springfield. Ownby Associates is the landscape architect for the roughly $310,000 project. The design includes stormwater improvements, lighting for pedestrians and vehicles, concrete sidewalks, brick-patterned pedestrian crosswalks, bicycle racks and landscaping improvements. Completion is slated for this fall.
