Community Foundation of the Ozarks Inc. has made a promotion that fills the role left vacant when Winter Kinne became CEO last year.
Ashley Silva, formerly assistant vice president of affiliates, was named vice president of development and philanthropic services, effective March 18, according to a news release.
“After working alongside Ashley for the last seven years, I’ve witnessed her passion for place-based philanthropy," Kinne said in the release. "Her expertise in building relationships with donors, discussing planned giving and managing a team makes her a natural fit for leadership.”
Silva started at CFO in 2017, helping the organization managing its network of more than 50 regional affiliate foundations, first as director of regional engagement. She previously spent 10 years working in Dallas in community foundation donor relations, corporate philanthropy and nonprofit fundraising.
In her new role at CFO, she leads the nonprofit's team that helps donors, partners and advisers build charitable resources, according to the release.
Silva also is among Springfield Business Journal's 2024 class of 40 Under 40 honorees that will be recognized at an April 2 event.
