  • 11 a.m.: Insurance Premium Busters, How to Ensure Low Insurance Premiums, Larry Davis, Financial Associates; Health and Wellness Programs, BJ Crabtree, Health Connection;
  • 1:15 p.m.: Best Practices to Retain Quality Employees – Employee Morale and Communication, Lisa Yankowitz, Informed Workplace; and
  • 2:45 p.m.: Social Media in the Workplace – Employer Responsibilities, Tedrick Housh, Lathrop & Gage.
Jefferson City-based Associated Industries of Missouri has hosted educational events for more than 25 years to aid its members.

This year, AIM will host two HR one-stop shop events. Each is designed to provide a broad overview of issues that are facing our Missouri human resources professionals and business leaders.

The events will address topics including workers’ compensation, beating insurance premium increases, the complexities of social media in the workplace, and tactics to maintain quality employees.

Since forming in 1919, AIM has supported Missouri business members in several ways. At that time, 40 business leaders gathered in Jefferson City to negotiate with labor unions to create Missouri’s first Workers Compensation law, which passed in 1926.[[In-content Ad]]
