AECI leader joins CoxHealth Foundation board

Associated Electric Cooperative Inc. General Manager and CEO David Tudor joined the CoxHealth Foundation Board of Directors.

The board has 16 members who help carry out the philanthropic endeavors of CoxHealth, according to the foundation's website.

“Mr. Tudor brings a great breadth of knowledge, experience and compassion to the CoxHealth Foundation board that will help us continue to improve upon the work that we do to serve patients of CoxHealth,” said Lisa Alexander, president of the CoxHealth Foundation, in a news release.

Tudor has led Springfield-based AECI since 2016, according to the utility company's website. He has more than 30 years of experience in the energy industry.

The CoxHealth Foundation distributed more than $800,000 in its most recent fiscal year, according to data on its website. Of the funding, $203,000 went toward home monitoring equipment for discharged patients.
