After five years off the Dynamic Dozen list, Sun Solar LLC is back again. But not just any ranking would do. Sun Solar nabbed the top spot, just as the solar panel installer did in 2017.
While there can only be one No. 1 as Springfield Business Journal counts down the fastest-growing companies in the Ozarks, each of these companies has an impressive story to tell.
For three – Environmental Works Inc., Epic Strategies LLC and OMB Bank – it’s their first time making the list. Others like CoxHealth, Citizens Memorial Hospital and Russell Cellular Inc. are veterans, earning a spot through rapid revenue and employee growth more than 10 times apiece.
Combined, the 12 companies honored this year produced over $7.9 billion in revenue and employed nearly 19,500 people in 2022.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Dynamic Dozen awards. It’s great to see new faces at the event, and many companies have been honored over the years, but it’s downright impressive to see multimillion-dollar companies continue to grow at this level year after year.
As you’ll read in these profiles, these company leaders don’t believe in growth for growth’s sake. They cite maintaining a strong culture and quality of products and services as a must as their companies expand.
These awards also honor the people behind the successful local companies, as people are truly the heart of any business.
Congratulations to all the honorees. We hope you enjoy this special publication. –Christine Temple, Executive Editor
