The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission yesterday asked a federal judge to hold Tesla CEO Elon Musk in contempt of court.
SEC officials called Musk's behavior "stunning" as he continued to post tweets about Tesla without consulting others at the company. A previous court-ordered settlement with the SEC required him to do so.
The SEC also dismissed Musk’s argument that his First Amendment rights are being violated.
