Orlando, Florida-based Ripley’s Believe It or Not! World Entertainment is expanding its footprint in Branson.
The company this morning announced the purchase of Adventure Seekers and its FlyRide theater from Randy Little. The deal for the 3115 W. 76 Country Blvd. attraction closed June 15 for undisclosed terms, said Ripley's spokesperson Suzanne Smagala-Potts.
Adventure Seekers bills itself as “a fully loaded fun-factory" with more than 150 interactive exhibits, games, hands-on displays and more. The FlyRide theater, which has landmark and dinosaur shows, is located inside the entertainment venue.
"Ripley’s Believe It or Not! World Entertainment has always been committed to creating unforgettable family fun,” said Jim Pattison Jr., the company's president, in the release. “Bringing Adventure Seekers into the Ripley’s family gives the company another popular attraction right here in Branson."
Adventure Seekers, a roughly 1-year-old attraction, joins Ripley’s operations in Branson that comprise Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Branson, Ripley's Super Fun Park Branson and Creative Custom Fabrication.
"Building Adventure Seekers has been an incredible journey, and it has been an honor serving the millions of families who visit Branson every year," Little said in the release. “When looking toward the future of this attraction, I wanted to ensure it would be in the hands of a company that values community, family fun and exceptional guest experiences. I know Ripley’s Believe It or Not! World Entertainment will be a fantastic steward for the brand and our amazing team members.”`
