YOUR BUSINESS AUTHORITY
Springfield, MO
Editor’s Notebook: Looking at the 10 area projects compiled by SBJ staff in this edition of Springfield Business Journal’s Construction in the Ozarks series – almost 340,000 square feet of growth and development – I’m struck by the variety of projects. For me, that alone demonstrates vitality. Here are just a few examples of what I see that’s notable: Rapid growth in the third-party logistics and other industries, as entrepreneurs harness human ingenuity, southwest Missouri-style; the advancement of housing supply, a key factor in creating more affordability in our communities; the development of churches and schools, which serve deeply human needs. It all adds up to a region with a can-do attitude about facing the future, one that’s ready to keep thriving in business and in life. —Gregory Holman, Interim Editor
