The U.S. Postal Service is slated to debut a fuel fee in January 2027.
The fee will apply to USPS Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, Priority Mail Express and Parcel Select shipments, according to Supply Chain Dive.
The surcharge will be updated on a weekly basis based on diesel and jet fuel prices.
