Indiana-based ice cream novelty maker Ice Cream Specialties Inc. is ceasing production at its Brentwood facility.
The decision means 107 workers will be laid off, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.
The company is a subsidiary of dairy cooperative Prairie Farms Dairy.

The new Bingham Elementary School, along with plans to renovate and increase the size of Bissett Elementary, wasn’t part of the original list of projects encompassed by Proposition S, a $220 million bond issue by Springfield Public Schools approved by city voters in April 2023.
