Residential Roundup: The most expensive homes on the market

Interested homebuyers looking for top-of-the-market residences have myriad choices in Springfield this summer.

For this new periodic editorial series, Springfield Business Journal compiled a list of the homes with the highest asking prices via the Southern Missouri Regional MLS. To narrow the list, SBJ pulled single-family homes with an asking price of at least $500,000 that were listed in July. All have Springfield addresses.

Tapping into the beauty of the Ozarks, features of the homes include a man-made lake, backyard amenities such as fruit trees and large patios.

5517 S. Dunrobin Drive
$1.3 million

From Jeff Frye of Jim Hutcheson Realtors Inc., this listing is for a four-bedroom, five-bathroom home in southeast Springfield. The residence overlooks the 17th green at Highland Springs Country Club and features a kitchen with multiple preparation areas, as well as an outdoor patio.
