H&R Block reduces board size

Kansas City-based H&R Block has reduced the size of its board of directors to eight members from nine.

The board will not fill a seat left vacant by Yolande Piazza, vice president of financial services for Google Cloud.

Piazza said her decision to resign this week “was not due to any disagreement with the company on any matter relating to its operations, policies or practices.”
