HP seeks billions from estate of late billionaire Mike Lynch

Hewlett Packard is seeking billions of dollars from the estate of late British billionaire Mike Lynch, who died when his yacht sank in the Mediterranean last month.

The company alleges it lost more than $4 billion when it purchased Autonomy, co-founded by Lynch. Lynch denied accusations by HP of fraud.

"It is HPE’s intention to follow the proceedings through to their conclusion," company officials told Reuters.
