Bill Foster was once called “one of the best-kept secrets” of the Springfield community by the much-lauded CEO of Springfield Remanufacturing Corp., Jack Stack. Indeed, Foster, the multidecade Springfield businessman, community activist and entrepreneur has left his mark on the area by focusing on others. In his career, Foster has built and operated more than 20 long-term care companies, and in 2009, Foster was honored with the Springfieldian award, when Foster Hospitality Group operated five assisted-living and residential-care facilities in Missouri and Arkansas.
