Bass Pro Shops founder John Morris tied for No. 375 on Forbes' recently released list of the wealthiest people in the world.
The owner of the Springfield-based outdoor retailer, Big Cedar Lodge near Branson and Tracker Marine Group, Morris' net worth is valued at $4 billion, according to his
Forbes profile.
Bass Pro's more than 60 stores and marine dealerships, according to Forbes, brought in some $3 billion in sales last year.
Other Missourians on this year's list include:
- No. 82 Jack Taylor and family; $12.8 billion; Enterprise-Rent-A-Car; St. Louis;
- No. 253 Stanley Kroenke; $5.6 billion, sports and real estate; Columbia;

With a net worth of $76 billion, Bill Gates topped the list after a four-year hiatus, reclaiming the title from telecom mogul Carlos Slim Helu of Mexico. Gates, whose worth increased by $9 billion during the past year, has claimed the No. 1 spot 15 of the past 20 years, according to
Forbes.
