Bob’s Stores closing after 70 years in business

Northeast U.S. discount store chain Bob’s Stores is shuttering after 70 years in business.

The retailer is closing its 21 stores as part of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing.

The stores are in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island.
