Workplace Gratitude Pushes Peak Performance

Posted online

“We build video technology that helps people to express their gratitude and appreciation for the people they care about,” says Andrew Horn, Founder and CEO of tribute.co. They showed their client companies research about how employee recognition impacts the performance of employees. Horn cites a 2014 Gallup poll that showed the number one reason people leave their jobs in America is because they don’t feel appreciated. “In that same poll, we found out that organizations that have a strategic recognition program, have a 71% higher engagement than those without,” says Horn. If you want your organization to thrive, you must care about employee recognition and gratitude in the workplace. Horn was one of the speakers at the 11th Annual Wellness Conference presented by Ollis/Akers/Arney.
