University of Missouri preparing for budget cuts

University of Missouri System President Mun Choi said the school is bracing for budget cuts in the next fiscal year, according to KOMU 8.

School leaders will look for spending reductions for the next fiscal year. The university's fiscal years start on July 1.

Choi reportedly said in an email that the university will take "proactive steps" to "protect our core teaching, research and engagement missions."
